Samuel M. Spencer Beach Park

This white sand beach that is protected by an offshore reef is safe for swimming year round and for this reason the beach is very popular with local families. It is possible to walk along the shore from Spencer Beach to the historic Pu'ukohola and Mailekini heiaus. The park is located off Hwy. 270, uphill from Kawaihae Harbor.
