Scuba Diving

Located north of Kawaihae Harbor off the main highway, Crystal Cove is a great place to go diving. 140 yards from the 5 mile marker, you will see a blocked road. After a 4 minute walk, you will be swimming with the fish. Coral is thick and abundant and depths are around 40 feet.

Puako is known as the best dive spot on island. The reef is in great shape and the fish and turtles are magnificent. As you drive through Puako, go to the end of the road and the six legal entrances to the coast are by the telephone poles #106, 110, 115, 120, 127, and 137. Most of the public access signs have conveniently disappeared.
