Coconut Island is the site of the annual Kamehameha day (June 11) crowning of the Hawaiian Royal court in a day of festivities and pageantry. Coconut Island can be accessed by a five-minute walk along the shoreline fronting Resort to where a footbridge connects the shoreline to the Island.
